It was the final day of Sunday School and the children made a presentation play based on Jn. 4:35, the fields are white for harvest. In the play, the children were villagers who gave many excuses why they could not go out to the harvest. The message, based on their play, was to the children and congregation. I neglected to turn on the recorder for the first five or so minutes of the message where I questioned the children about excuses they had made.
It also was Mothers Day which is commemorated as Parent Appreciation Day at SLC in order to incude the dads with their children on the final day of Sunday School.
